Joo-Von Kim

Joo-Von Kim is a theoretical condensed matter physicist with interests in nanoscale magnetism, spintronics, and nonlinear phenomena. He holds a B. Sc. (Hons) and a Ph.D. from the University of Western Australia. He joined the Nomade group in 2002 and has held a tenured research scientist position at the CNRS since 2004.

His present research interests include spin-torque oscillators, domain wall dynamics in ultrathin films, dynamics of chiral spin textures such as skyrmions, stochastic processes in nanoscale magnetism, and nonlinear computing paradigms using magnetic devices.
