Claude Chappert is a First-Class CNRS Research Director with over 30 years of experience in ultrathin magnetic films and nanostructures. He has co-authored more than 200 papers, been granted five patents, and was awarded the 2000 CNRS Silver Medal for his research achievements. He is presently Director General of the Campus Paris Saclay foundation.
